That was our experience in 2012. In addition to having the last car - making the views from the viewing platform down the mountain incredible - they restricted the number of tickets to 1/2 the number of seats so everyone could sit on the 'good side' (left side up).

 

Thanks for the info; will look at using this company for our cruise.

We went the end of May and it was cold. Layer your clothes, warm socks, knitted hat and coat for glacier viewing because it is windy and cold. We went on land and sea tour and were amazed how many people had just a carry on suitcase and no large luggage like us and we did laundry.
