CruiserBruce Posted April 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2016 As mentioned on your other thread, when you get there, just do a search on your smart phone. You will get all the info about all the eateries in the area. Ratings, menus, types, etc.
AKStafford Posted April 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2016 My favorite is F Street Station. But its pretty tiny with just bar seating. Glacier Brewhouse is good and so is Simon & Seaforts.

trixietx Posted April 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2016 The Westmark that I stayed at in Anchorage had a very nice restaurant. I thought reasonable and very good food.
rockdoctor Posted April 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 16, 2016 A cross the street is Glacier Brewhouse. Trendy, expensive. A block or so away is Humpies. Atmosphere is bar like but the food is better and cheaper. Have a great trip!

lucky cal Posted April 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 17, 2016 We enjoyed Humpy's. Food was good and reasonably priced (by Alaska standards), service was friendly and there was a nice mix of locals along with tourists. We had the opportunity to feel a 6.3-magnitude earthquake while we were at dinner there last July, ironically just after we visited Earthquake Park. It was quite a unique experience for east coast natives not accustomed to earthquakes.
Orlando Vic Posted April 17, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 17, 2016 A cross the street is Glacier Brewhouse. Trendy, expensive. Yeah, but you absolutely must have reservations.
