Clarea Posted April 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2016 Can someone recommend shuttle companies to go to/from Orlando airport and Port Canaveral? Cocoa Beach Shuttle, Travelynx, Cortrans, Executive VIP Transportation. Cortrans is $20 per person.
cherbear4000 Posted April 19, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted April 19, 2016 I forgot to ask, does anyone know if car seats are required for shuttles or limos? I am traveling with people that have young children.
Rare kctwinmommy Posted April 19, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2016 As far as recommendations, we've used Cocoa Beach shuttle a few times, most recently in November. While the reviews are mixed on other sites, we had a great experience. You have to keep in mind that all the shuttle services like this are pretty much the same, IMO. We called them when we landed, although they had our time. It took about 20 minutes for the shuttle to get there and they picked up 1 other party before we left the airport. But the ride out was great, good driver, etc... When we came back to port, we went out to the curb where the shuttles are at and again, we waited maybe 20 minutes. I've written up my review on them for Trip Advisor because there are some negative reviews, but again, our experience was exactly as we thought, no problems, exactly what we needed. I am traveling with people that have young children. Required or not, why wouldn't they request them? If they have small children who use car seats at home, then they should use them in other vehicles too! I don't know how you request them, but I'm sure they have them. Honestly though, as a former car seat technician, I'm always so concerned about using "borrowed" car seats. But I also recognize that they're most likely not going to be traveling with their own.
