newxmascruiser Posted April 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2016 Hi I am looking for a hotel 1 night in South Beach pre cruise we will at most have 1 afternoon/evening there so doesn't need to be major fancy but want to make sure we are right on the heart of South Beach. Happy to spend $400 ish Does any one have a recommendation please? I've searched the usual hotel sites kind of difficult to see what is the right area for me to be in. Thanks

Happy to spend $400 ish Does any one have a recommendation please? I've searched the usual hotel sites kind of difficult to see what is the right area for me to be in.Thanks Depends on the time of year but my choices in this order: Setai (it normally is about $1,000 per room per night in season) The Betsy The W 1 Hotel South Beach (that rooftop, OMG pool, I die!) Shore Club SLS Delano (just because the rooms can be sterile) Ritz-Carlton The Loews South Beach has such a plethora of luxury hotels that the moderate hotels there would be five star luxury anywhere else. I know I'm leaving a few out buy my mind is drawing a blank.

Wave61 Posted April 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2016 We booked the breakwater hotel for our next cruise. The reviews are good, seem the only drawback is that it can be quite noisy at night. We also considered the clay hotel but the reviews weren't quite as good. Both offer complimentary beach towels, lounge chairs and Continental breakfast.
