Mustang4CNO Posted April 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2016 While reviewing all info for our up coming cruise on Grandeur of the Seas I noticed the Crown & Anchor symbol conspicuously absent on the perks chart for members. I wrote the company to enquire. They responded that they have indeed cut out that perk! They countered that we could now plan personal get aways with their professionals. I guess in these fiscally austere times they need to cut back, but how much did it cost? Sure there is the fiscal cost but surly that was returned in customer satisfaction. If we did not have so much time and money already invested in RCI, we might start looking at other cruise lines.

readytogo2 Posted April 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2016 Don't understand why they cut them out, it couldn't have cost them much, mostly watered down punch cocktails. Meanwhile everything else on the ship costs us more.

shutterbug63 Posted April 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2016 "Plan get aways with their professionals"? What do they mean with that? Maybe they mean those "private excursions" they offer now? The ones where someone helps you personally plan your excursions?
