Signing up for Cruise Critic Parties - Update, Fix on the way

Hi everyone,

A while ago we noticed an issue with signing up for the cruise critic event through the celebrity website.

Users either got a message saying it could not sign them up or the page or that the page is under construction/maintenance.

Yesterday I received this reply from Celebrity on this issue.

We are aware of the issue and the priority. We already have a fix which is available on the next couple of days.

So in the next couple of days the feature to sign up on the website should be up and running again.

My cruise is in 25 days and I have not been able to register. I don't hold out much hope it will be fixed in enough time.

This was posted on my Roll Call today. ;) Is this their fix? :rolleyes:

 

I just got off the telephone with Celebrity and they have set up an email for the "Meet and Mingle" for Cruise Critic folks, since signing up on the website is not working. They tell me that the email address is: mix_and_mingle@cruisecritics.com.

Indicate which cruise you are on and cabin number.

No promises.

When I called yesterday, they said it was a problem with Cruise critic, not celebrity. In the meantime I just called captains club and ask them to sign me up manually which they were happy to do. Who knows what the real answer is.

I'd call Captain's Club and have them do it for you. That way you know you're all set.
