cruisin07family Posted May 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2016 We're cruising this summer to Alaska on the Pearl and three of the four couples purchases the 3-night UDP. I made reservations for 8 for three nights before I knew the 4th couple didn't purchase. Is it a problem if either: the 4th couple comes to dinner and must pay base fee or a la carte or they do not come and my reservation for 8 is actually 6? Rare KeithJenner Posted May 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2016 It's no problem if the 4th couple come along. As you suggest, they will just have to pay their part (an in the a la carte places, reports suggest that some waitstaff can be quite generous in how they allocate the purchases). If they don't come then you should change the reservation 24 hours in advance to 6 people. If you don't then you could be charged for them, although I'd be extremely surprised if they actually did so.
cmdchiefthom Posted May 5, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2016 As long as you have the seats reserved, the person without the package simply pays the going rate as a room charge.;)
