Discovery dry dock

if you look at the time lapse u will see the hatch below water level at the point of dry dock

Most ships while in dry dock have an access door burnt out in the ships hull. It's a quick way normally into the engine room etc.This is welded back up again before flooding the dock.

I could have done that for them, my soldering efforts are just like welding :eek:

If you go onto Twitter and search TUI Discovery you can find a lot of pics from the agents/journalists onboard at the moment. Think she's looking brilliant! They've certainly upped their game with this refurb. Bars looks good, atrium looks great, and cabins seem to have all been returbed also from what I can see. Also some really nice black sunbeds around the ship that look much better than the usual.
