celebrity dress code?

About to go on a Celebrity cruise and am confused by the dress code. On previous cruises they have had a number of formal nights where I was able to wear my tux. It now looks as if this has been replaced by a '' chic'' night. Has anyone update as to what passengers do wear? Do they still wear tuxs or is it more casual?

If you go to the Celebrity board and search "dress code" you will find hours and hours of reading enjoyment. :p One of the most frequently discussed topics on this site. You will se opinions arranging from "its about time Celebrity got with what people want" to "its not like the good old days anymore".

 

We have done several Celebrity cruises and tuxes were already the minority before the official change in dress code. Not to say you won't still see them (I still wear mine whether on Celebrity or another line), but more seem to be doing suits with and without ties which is within the guidelines.

Really the short answer is that the super formal choices are the minority but still exist. You can feel comfortable wearing anything from snappy casual to super formal. If you enjoy the formal wear you will not be out of place wearing it. Have fun!!
