Worst Internet at sea

We left the Eclipse this morning after spending over a month onboard (we boarded on April 17th for the trans-Atlantic). We were in the same A1 (deck 11) stateroom the entire time. We didn't have any major problems with the internet. The few times we found it very slow we just waited and tried an hour or so later, and connected with no substantial delays.

a couple of additional observation.....sites that used SSL (https:) seemed to be significantly slower than sites that did not use SSL security. Depending on what you want to do, this can have a big impact. Checking bank/brokerage accounts can be very slow at the same time retrieving mail can seem to be running fast. Unfortunately, even though cruisecritic does not use SSL, it is, for whatever reason, one of the slower sites.

The other observation is that when in port, the system seems to run very slowly....and it's not due to the hills or buildings in the port.
