I'm wondering what are the food options on embarkation day? Is it just the lido deck? And if all bars are open?

I would appreciate drink menus if anyone has them, Thanks!!

You will be sent to the Lido deck when you board the ship. All the food options for lunch are here, but there are plenty of them. There are several buffet and dessert stations, a deli, Guys burgers, a burrito bar, pizza, Mongolian Wok, and Tandoori station, depending on what ship you are on. The stairs beside the dessert station will take you up to a rotisserie, pasta, or fish and chips.

The dining rooms and the steakhouse will be open for supper. You should be well fed the first day.

I think the bars in the lobby and on the Lido are open when guests arrive. Bar waiters also circulate on the Lido and you can order whatever you fancy.

Obviously we don't have a large body of knowledge yet about the particulars of this ship but in my experience with both carnival and other lines, while they try to get people to go to the buffet, at least one of the dining rooms will be open for lunch and a sit down meal. At least, that has been my experience in the past. I have no reason to believe the Vista will be different.

Same as every other Carnival sailing - just about everything will be open except the main dining room. Bar menu same (can be found online somewhere). Some "new" beers available in the Red Frog Pub because of the onboard brewery.

Since this thread is in the Vista section, hutt1's response isn't correct because Vistas has different venues than other ships. It's more like Sunshine with some extras. There is no upstairs dining section.

Go to Carnival's website and look at the info on Vista. It will list all the eating and drinking venues.
