Spike5556 Posted May 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2016 This may be a dumb question, but is room service for breakfast complimentary or is there a charge? Also, what is an appropriate amount to tip when it arrives? We have never ordered this before, but with having a balcony this time around I think it may be enjoyable! Thank you! Riff Sniff Posted May 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2016 I haven't sailed on Anthem yet (2 more weeks!), but from what I have read there some breakfast items that are free, and some that have a charge. kenandcindyc Posted May 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2016 Do you know if you need to order the night before? or that morning? And what the timing of it is? (ie, if I order at 6am, will it take till 8-9am for it to arrive?) thanks!

Spike, IMHO, treat the gratuity like it was another service to your cabin. For example, if your cabin steward is getting a minimum of $3.50 a day per person, it might be a good benchmark for you to use (though this is a little on the high side because this individual is also making up your room). Consider-If this person served you in the dining room or the Windjammer, and you settled gratuities daily..etc. Have a wonderful cruise! ~Bob
jonj Posted May 20, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 20, 2016 I came across this website when searching for information on the Anthem http://eatsleepcruise.com/ Link to menus including room service http://eatsleepcruise.com/2016/05/anthem-of-the-seas-menus/
hapster85 Posted May 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) I could understand maybe charging a convenience fee for room service, but a per item charge? Come on. Talk about nickel and diming. Smh Edited May 21, 2016 by hapster85
UandMe4Ever Posted May 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted May 23, 2016 Thanks, that's good enough for free...Do they have 'glasses' for milk or little containers? thanks in advance.
Got2gogirrl Posted May 23, 2016 #9 Share Posted May 23, 2016 They have little containers of milk.....I never did room service for breakfast , but the food was great other times of the day. Chicken wings , a cheeseburger cost 4.99 but they were good as was the cookies and key lime tart! UandMe4Ever Posted May 24, 2016 #10 Share Posted May 24, 2016 Thanks! I hate that some cruise line puts the milk in a glass, covered with saran wrap. It always spills all over....No biggie, but...........
