bnrv99 Posted May 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2016 We returned from the Magic on 5/21, we saw something for the first time in 8 previous cruises. An ex military guy (I am assuming) had a service dog with him on the ship. We thought this was awesome but wondered how does it work to have a dog on the ship and his needs...... The dog was great and was very well mannered. If anyone has information about dogs on ships I would appreciate it. Have a great day!
KenMo Posted May 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2016 If you're wondering about the poop... I've read that Carnival makes a place for that on the lifeboat deck.

Itzmyn Posted May 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 28, 2016 We had a gentleman on our Glory cruise a couple of years back that had an absolutely beautiful Labrador service dog. The gentleman was blind, and his service dog was so well trained that you wouldn't even know he was in the dining room. I think it's wonderful that everyone can enjoy a Carnival cruise! MtnDweller Posted May 28, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 28, 2016 On our recent Indy of the seas TA some gentleman had a poodle or something similar:rolleyes: Service dogs come in all sizes. A friend of ours' wife has diabetes. Her service dog is part Pomeranian and part Yorkie. All 5 pounds of him. He can detect her sugar level issues before she does.
