Post tour from Fort Lauderdale Help please

Out flights don't leave until 7:00 pm and we have done the ship excursion with the everglades and also done one off RCI seeing all the millionaire homes on the riverboat tour. only one offered on Carnival Conquest and it's the everglades which like a said we have done. Can anyone tell me if they have used a private tour to kill time before flights. I know we can get a taxi etc. to the mall or beach but luggage is a factor. Thanks for your suggestions and help in advance.

Rent a car, put your bags in the trunk, and then go where you want and do what you want for the day.

I definitely agree with JohninDC. But before you go read up on Fort Lauderdale and pick out some sights you might enjoy. And if you have a smartphone you have a gps that will give you turn by turn directions.
