Alaska Cruise Companion Book-Pre cruise purchase?

I would like to be able to read through the Alaska Cruise Companion Book ahead of time, rather than getting it on the ship. I called but Princess said they only sell it on the ship.

Amazon sells the 2012 version, but not the current 2014 one.

 

Does anyone know of where to buy this ahead of time? Or if the 2012 one is any different.

I can't imagine that Alaska has changed all that much between 2012 and 2014. If you really want it in advance I'd suggest just getting the earlier version.

I bought a used copy off of eBay, in good shape and it had the big fold out map included for $5. It is the older edition and I have noticed that when I compare the navigation sections of Some of the recently uploaded Patters here that the referenced page numbers are different than what are in my edition, but it's still easy enough to find the correct page/waypoints that are being mentioned.
