Construction at Seattle Pier 66

There have been reports of difficulty regarding accessing the Pier 66 terminal because of the ongoing construction with the waterfront project which will last until sometime in 2017. Any recent experiences with this situation, especially when trying to access transport to Seatac upon disembarkation, would be greatly appreciated.

I will be sailing in and out of Pier 66 next week. I have not heard that.

Disembarked May 13 from a cruise there. No problems with transportation. If you are concerned, arrange for a shuttle to the airport. Sorry, I can't help with cost, but we stayed downtown a couple of days, so didn't shuttle all the way to the airport.

I work in downtown Seattle. No problems to/from pier 66. Expect to pay $40 flat rate +tip to SeaTac, 30-45 minutes.

You may have heard about traffic problems from when they temporarily closed the viaduct for tunneling construction late April to early May. Aside from our usual traffic, you should be fine.
