From Aboard Summit Cruise End Review

We just got back from sailing on the Summit. We were very disappointed with the main dining room service. 30 to 45 minute wait almost every day to get a table, and we were not impressed with the service several nights. This was our first time on Celebrity, and we thought the dining room service was much better on our other cruises.

Our cabin steward was great.

Entertainment was good, and we enjoyed the thalassotherapy pool.

We would definitely do this cruise again because Bermuda is absolutely gorgeous. However, the dining room service could definitely have been better. We talked to several others who shared our thoughts about the dining room service.

I agree with you. We were a couple and always had to wait at least 45 minutes for a table. After being seated it was another 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive. The tables for two are small and you are seated right next to another table for two only inches away. Hard to have a conversation with each other. The larger tables got the best service with multiple waiters and fast service. Celebrity should pay more attention to couples and have better tables for two. There were tables for two against the wall but when we inquired about those tables we were told there was no waiter for these tables.

We were on the July 3rd sailing and were a party of 10 (5 couples). We had late seating and our MDR experience was excellent. Of the 5 nights we ate there, the service was exceptional 4 nights and ok the 5th. We ate in Tuscan Grille 1 night which was fabulous. They basically brought out everything that was on the menu. Qsine would be best suited for a smaller group. They had difficulty with the sharing concept for a large group with varying likes and dislikes.
