Dinner reservations

We'll be in Venice in August and wondered if we should be making reservations for dinner or just show up. I'm not sure how many folks speak English so wasn't sure if it's worth the effort.

If you know where you want to dine, you have several options:

1) have your hotel concierge make the reservation - do this before you arrive. Most concierges now have email access ;)

2) look at the websites or TA or Yelp entries for the restaurants and, if they have an email address, use it to inquire about reservations. Also, the sites will let you know if they take reservations or are first-come/first-served.

 

Lack of Italian/English literacy usually is not a problem...
