Too Young for Cunard Posted June 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Boarding QE at Mayflower terminal in Southampton in a couple of months as a Platinum world club member. I've heard the procedure for priority embarkation has changed and the terminal has been refurbished. Has anyone got any experiences to share? What has changed? Is it better or worse? How does priority embarkation work now for platinum passengers?
Rare LadyL1 Posted June 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Arrive as per the time on your e-tickets. You will board strictly after the Grills and Diamond pax (in that order) which should be quite early.

How does priority embarkation work now for platinum passengers? The Mayflower Terminal is now brighter and looks bigger and matches the others. In my opinion much better. On arrival and showing your ticket confirmation you will be given a colour coded card which will relate to your Loyalty status. You wait with the other passengers and they call your card colour and letter and place the details on the TV Screens scattered around. There is no longer a separate area for CWC members. The only separate area is for Grills guests . However CWC Platinum and Diamond get Priority over the other guests. Once you have checked in you proceed through security then onboard.
