Hatters cruiser Posted June 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Yes, I take a CPAP device with me that has a three pin plug on it, there is normally one close enough to the bed to use that.
Scorpio41 Posted June 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 17, 2016 There is normally a UK three pin plug above the dressing table. They were too close to the top of the table to use a usb plug charger however on some ships they have turned the plug socket upside down to solve this. We always take a short extension lead. Florry Posted June 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Britannia has lots more sockets and although we took an extension we didn't need it[emoji4]
hooked cruiser Posted June 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 17, 2016 On the Azura you have 2 x 3 pin sockets on the dressing table one of which is permanently on while the other loses power when you leave the cabin and remove your cruise card from the switch just inside the door. An alternative is that it is possible to get USB chargers where the lead comes out of the top and not the bottom like this one - http://images.samsung.com/is/image/samsung/uk_ETA-U90UBEGSTD_008_Origin_black?$DT-Gallery$ Edited June 19, 2016 by insanemagnet
groovechick Posted June 20, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Sorry its probably been asked before - remind me are they English 3 pin plugs in your cabin? thanks in advance On Britannia they are except for the one for the ship's hairdryer, which is an American style 2-pin. Ours was very rickety considering she's a new-ish ship. Also the hairdryer cable was hardly long enough to reach from the socket to the seat in front of the mirror.
