puli Posted June 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2016 Could someone please tell me if the aft vista suites have a desk in the living room section? All pictures I can find show only a small sofa table by the sofa . I wanted to book D736 (larger balcony) but we need 2 desks....one in bedroom area for makeup etc. and one in living room area for computer, camera etc. If vista suites do not have this then what is the difference between aft owner's suite B 750 and aft penthouse suite C748? Thanks!

Thank you so much....if we are going to the Caribe deck is there any significant difference between C750(Vista) and C748(penthouse) other than price? Couldn't find all the choices on Grand Princess but: here is C750 on Emerald. Here's D 737 on Ruby. Here's C749 Penthouse Suite On Grand.

The penthouse is bigger and has a bigger balcony. Do a search and there are some pictures of the suites on Caribe deck. The balconys have beams which we found no problem but it was only the 2 of us. D deck also has a beam but found it to be no problem also.
puli Posted June 18, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted June 18, 2016 thanks everyone.....I believe the Vista suites have the beam and the Penthouse suites have the vents...except I think there are no noisy vents on the Grand. There is also the option of an owner's suite on Baja deck aft but I am not so sure about the noise from the Terrace Pool on the Aloha Deck above..I would rather pay a little more and get a bigger bang for my buck. Go-Bucks! Posted June 19, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 19, 2016 thanks everyone.....I believe the Vista suites have the beam We were in D736 on the Grand 7 months ago with 12 sea days! The beam is no big deal! It's on the left side of the balcony and we put the table behind it. It doesn't mess with the view at all. We actually liked to move the loungers behind it occasionally if we got tired of the full sun. It's only about 24" wide. As far as a desk, there is a very long counter top that goes from the bed all the way over to the make up table in the bedroom. It was plenty long enough to keep all our electronics, books, Patters, and much more. Just as useful as another desk. And it has huge drawers underneath it. We loved this suite!! :D

puli Posted June 20, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Decided to go with the aft penthouse on Caribe deck. My husband needs a full desk to mess with all his pictures and computer business. If we took the Vista on Dolphin we would be fighting for the chair and desk space in the bedroom area. Smaller sofa and perhaps not as nice a side view...but great nonetheless. thanks everyone for all the advice and information!

You will also enjoy the shelving on either side of the sink that is not present in the Vista Suites. Mike:)
