whylion Posted July 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2016 We are planning an overnight excursion, skipping one night onboard during our cruise. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? Of course we will make the ship aware that we will no be rejoining the cruise for that night so they don't look for us or hold things up.

Of course we will make the ship aware that we will no be rejoining the cruise for that night so they don't look for us or hold things up. No problem!! In February while on the Silver Cloud, we had two days in Port Richards during a cruise along the South Africa coast. We were doing an overnight, private tour/safari and spending that evening off the ship in middle of one of their nearby National Parks. Things worked fine and the ship staff are used to such "creative" scheduling by their passengers. Of course, we made the staff aware in advance of our plans/schedule. THANKS! Enjoy! Mark_K Posted July 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2016 It might be a problem if you're thinking of leaving the ship in one US port and rejoining it in another one.
