RMLincoln Posted July 5, 2016 #26 Share Posted July 5, 2016 I have been researching possible HAL cruises for December/January for this year and see that HAL still lists their "coupon book" as a perk for cruises. ..... I have never seen a coupon book listed as a perk in any TA's offerings nor on HAL nor by PCCs, and I have never gotten one on a HAL cruise (11 so far). I must not be circulating in the right circles.... Can any passenger get one at the front desk for the asking? m--

A marketing ploy of almost no value to many pax. Used to get these all the time form my TA, but have not seen them for a couple of years now. I did try to use one once: a free Pinnacle lunch (?) if you buy the 7 bottle Admiral's wine package. Because we were using the 5 star discount on this package, we weren't able to "double dip" and get the coupon offer. Seems like a poor way to treat the 5 star clients who buy top level wine packages.

You never know, but HAL is a business..... etc. Their call, of course.
