i was not able to do so.

what it is possible to be done: if you book a flexible flight one way, you may change it to round trip before that 45 days timeframe or the opposite - book the round one as flexible and then cancel it and book departure or return.

you won't be able to keep pricing thou (it what i was told while researching this option with EZair)

That's what we hit on our upcoming cruise. I was shocked to find that our TA had booked flights for us which ended up not being what we wanted because we were spending a week there after the cruise.

A quick phone call resulted in an explanation (since it was summer, main tourist time, the TA didn't want flights to fill up and us not able to get anything, but she had been assured that the flex fares were totally able to be canceled or changed) and a solution. We were able to cancel just the return portion of the flight and rebook it for a week later. The currently listed flex fare had increased slightly. We were charged 1/2 of the listed increase since we were rebooking only 1/2 of the reservation.

Hi all,

Has anyone purchased an EZAir flight, outgoing, to your cruise and then purchase the flight home at a later date?

TIA

Just the other day we purchased a one way "outgoing" via EZ Air. (great price unrestricted)Returning: EZ Air did not reflect any flights for our carrier UAL on the day we wanted. We then used our UAL miles to book the return flight to our home. Also, by going to our destination, Rome on a Thursday vs a Friday we saved over $700 for the two of us. So we booked our hotel an extra day in Rome say 200 euro we net ahead close to $500. Happy Camper!

That's great! So. If you wanted to you could book an EZAir flight for your way home...at a later date...just not the specific airline you wanted?

Yes, we were looking at American but departure times from Barcelona were very early.

Some that we were interested in and should have booked just to be safe, then fell from the list the next day etc. We try to give ourselves enough connection times between planes in case our first flight is a little late. Also, to give the ground folks time to get our luggage to the next plane. We had a experience when ALL our luggage never made it to the second flight. We spent our first two days in Rome without baggage. It eventually arrived at our hotel. It was a good thing we went 3 days early pre cruise. O' Boy!
