Using gift cards on board

I have $400 in Carnival gift cards to use on board. My husband and I are set up on the same charging account. If I apply the gift cards to my sail & sign, will his purchases also be deducted from the gift cards since we share charging privileges?

I usually apply a little at a time just in case we don't need them all. So if we have $342 in charges, I would apply $300 and charge the remaining $42, saving the last $100 card for my deposit on the next cruise. ;)

The short answer is yes. If your S&S accounts are linked, then his charges will be deducted from your gift card balances.
