HELP - Beach Hotel port of Miami pre cruise

Anyone know of any beach front hotels close to Port of Miami to stay at the day before we leave on our cruise?

Beach hotels near POM will be in Miami Beach, not Miami - focus your search on South Beach, which will be about a $15-20 cab ride to the port.

 

Dates, budget and number travelling would help the suggestions to be more on target. Many of the smaller, boutique hotels have small rooms that are only suitable for singles and couples - not families.
