Can anyone tell me about this odd shaped cabin? It is a coveted corner, however it is odd shaped.

I've been in that cabin and it's not really that odd of a shape. I love those corner S1s.

In October, we will be in the mirror image cabin on another deck. I can imagine decorating the pole with red and white spiral stripes and pretend its a barber shop pole. :D Love the extra porthole, not to mention the wrap-around verandah. Can't wait.

We've been in that cabin for two weeks. It's not that odd shaped, it's pretty much the same as the other S1s we've been in. Nice big spacious room, lots of light. After an hour you won't even notice the pole. Some S1s have one pole, some have 2. They don't even hit our radar, it's just part of the room.

 

It's a great cabin. We also like 1663 on the other side. Best deck and best cabins, our favorites. We book them every time. We've got two booked now.

We love them. Huge porthole window large enough to sit in. Also a nice wrap around deck.
