Chef's table sold out...any chance?

The Chef's Table dinner is sold out on our December 3rd Vista cruise. I emailed the steakhouse to reserve it about a month ago and finally today got a response that it is not available and that I would be put on a wait list. Has this happened to anyone and they still got to go? I'm wondering if they ever add another night if there is enough interest.

On our February 2015 Freedom repositioning cruise there were at least 3 Chef Tables. Now bear in mind it was a 12 day cruise so that may have been a factor.

We sailed on the Breeze in April. Emailed about 2 months out, was told it was booked. No mention of waitlisting. We boarded, then saw the table with someone standing there. I asked about Chef's table, was told it was sold out. She put my name on a secondary list. That night, by 11pm, we had a confirmation for our Chef's table. I guess a lot of people cancel. But, find the sign-up table when you board and give it a shot!!

Yes, there is always a chance they will add another night, if available.

Some people will drop out before final payment so there is a chance you can do it.

Wow, sold out in July for a December cruise! I requested a CT reservation back in July 2015 after we booked. I thought I was jumping the gun, but I wanted to check that off my to do list. Glad I did:cool:
