kimma11 Posted July 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Is the Villa worth the extra cost? Has anyone rented one before? Thank you :)
penguin85 Posted July 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2016 I think it would depend on the size of your group. We have used a Cabana for 6 people and it can get crowded.
Micahs Grandad Posted July 12, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Did it once for a group of 10 and it was worth it for the day. Did it a second time but unfortunately mother nature decided we should go that day.
dna529 Posted July 12, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Does anyone know if the day is a total washout- can you get money back for the villa if you don't go onshore?
beachbum53 Posted July 12, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Does anyone know if the day is a total washout- can you get money back for the villa if you don't go onshore? Yes. If the stop at HMC is cancelled, you would get a refund on your S&S account.
angiem0217 Posted July 12, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2016 We had 12 people and we did the villa and it is so worth it!!! If you only have 4-6 I would go with the Cabana. If your group is large go with the villa Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
CruiseReg Posted July 12, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2016 We've done all 3 types including the Grand Cabana with the open bar and Pinnacle Grill Chef BBQ (HAL cruise). I agree with others that 5-6 people would be the cutoff for me in a cabana. We had 8+ in a Villa in December and it was great! Totally worth the cost. Fern Crest Posted July 12, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Whichever you decide, book it quickly. They sell out fast. Enjoy your cruise!
imluvncruzn Posted July 13, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 13, 2016 Does anyone know if the day is a total washout- can you get money back for the villa if you don't go onshore? Only if Carnival cancels the stop! We've been there when it was cool and rained the whole day and they didn't cancel the stop. You will not get a refund if YOU choose not to go onshore because of weather.

WAHMto5 Posted July 13, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 13, 2016 We enjoy the Villas. I like having our own bathroom and the hot tub is a nice touch as well;)
