Jacksonville flight, how early?

We normally give ourselves probably too much leeway in scheduling flight times but our choices out of Jacksonville are 11:20 am or 6:25 pm. Yikes! Can we comfortably make the morning flight? Carrying our own luggage off the ship is not an option.

Carrying your own bags off you should be okay with the 11:20 flight. Port to airport is a 15-20+ minute cab ride (mostly against traffic if it is a weekday).

Over the years we have sailed out of Jacksonville four times and every time, even doing self assist, we were never off the ship until 8:30-9:00.

 

I don't know if it was because of Customs or their debarking process but it was always terribly slow! Hopefully they have gotten their act together since we sailed from there.

 

I would post this on the Carnival board to get some recent experiences.

Even if you are off the ship at 9:00 you should be at JAX NLT 9:30 - in time for your 11:20 flight. JAX is not a huge airport.

Thank you John that is what I was hoping to hear. And I am hoping that cabs are readily available at the port when disembarking?
