jules57 Posted July 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2016 How often is the grill open? We're doing the Lochs of Scotland on 22 September. Anticipating that it won't be warm enough for it to be open, particularly in the evening.
LandC Posted July 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2016 :)Hi Jules. We were on board for 10 nights from 24 April, for the Lands End to John O'Groats Cruise. The weather was quite good most of the time, but there was some wind and it wasn't warm enough for the grill to be open. You may have more luck in September. It was an enjoyable cruise nonetheless. tring Posted July 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2016 (edited) Our experience is that it is more a venu in warmer climes and not always well frequented even then. If in scenic location we have been know to order room service or have a quick bite in the self service so we can spend time outside or in the observation lounge - if it was the view you wanted. No charge for either of those options either. I have never been tempted by the grill menu as I am not a steak eater and they do very little else.
