Discover Credit Card Rewards

Has anyone recently redeemed cash back points on Discover for e-certificates on Carnival? I know you have to book through their travel and planning line, but was wondering how it all worked out. Were you still able to book Early Saver? Were you still able to choose your room etc? We are planning a B2B next summer and are taking the kids along for the first week, so booking a total of 3 rooms. Could we use 3 certificates, one for each room? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks :)

We did it several cruises ago and were able to everything as if you were not using the e-certs. We used one on each cabin...nice savings. I have not used them lately because they cannot be used with casino rates. Good luck and enjoy the cruise.

We use them a lot, except when using casino rate. Make sure you know wha type stateroom you want before purchasing the certificates. I deal with a wonderful person at the TA you need to use. Let me know if you want her name.
