POM to Tampa car rental suggestions?

We need to rent a car after our cruise from Port of Miami and drop it off in Tampa airport the next day before we fly out. Any suggestions the best rental place to use that will pick us up at the port? :confused:

National, Alamo and Thrifty (and maybe Enterprise) offer a free shuttle from POM to their MIA airport location. If you get a deal from someone else the cab fare is only $27+tip.

 

Avis and others are located in downtown Miami, close to POM - a $12+ cab ride if they do not shuttle (reports are mixed); downtown rental offices are often swamped by cruisers on busy days - you may wait for your car. :(
