we plan on doing self assist off of the Carnival Vista and have a Private shuttle booked from POM TO FLL. will be make it to FLL in plenty of time for this flight?

You will most likely make it...but not in "plenty of time". FLL will be crowded with the masses coming from the Port Everglades ships. You are on an international flight, which has additional requirements.

Be off the ship early and you will make it 99.9% of the time. I like those odds.
