Yes, maybe they are bringing it back a little with the whole Caribbean Princess launch with the Love Boat crew, etc. However, other ships don't seem to be 'with the program' at all.

 

Just hoping the poll shows most of us like it and they should bring it back MORE!

I'm telling you, if this doesn't happen pretty soon I am just going to break out in my own rendition of it accompanied by DD on the trumpet and THEN you'll wish they played it over the PA system..believe me!

One night at Skywalkers, about 3AM, the gang that was left broke into an version using those lyrics except substituting "Sex Cruise" for "Love Boat".

 

Made a whole different song but that was many many buckets of Dos Equis into the night.

Is anyone else surprised that only 53% so far "LOVE" the song?? I thought on the Princess boards especially the number would be alot higher. Granted, when you add those that wouldn't mind hearing it once or ocassionally the number goes to 80+ percent........just surprised the I love it number isn't higher.....now I feel it may be an age thing! LOL!

It might be just a demographic thing.. I grew up watching it every weekend. It was my big thing. I still think adding the top two stats together is what matters and that is a big number!

We grew up watching the show. Jill Whelan, who played the captain's daughter Viki, was from Livermore, CA, the town I grew up in.

I never met her, but some of my friends went to grade school with her.

 

We always referred to it as the 'Lust Barge'
