How does HUBB app work for adding chat friends

I'm looking at the HUBB app info online but don't see how to add friends sailing with us for the chat feature. Do you need their room number, just the name, etc?

 

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

Once you are on board, you click that you are on board. Since my husband and I were together, we were both added. I needed to go to the desk and ask them to add my kids, which they did and I was able to add them. Once you are on board, you will figure it out. You put your phone on airplane mode and then sign in to the hub Internet. We were able to add our friends that were with us. It was great, a few times it went out only for a short time, we always were able to find out where everyone was. Good luck!
