cmukid87 Posted July 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2016 We will typically see an odd amount of credit on our S&S when we board (example: 3.84, per person), and I think this is for changing taxes, fees, and port expenses. What if these go up in price? one of our current bookings is +$2.51/pp.

I've only ever received credits.

Then, we always have extra obc because, inevitably, they go down again.
Rare shof515 Posted July 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2016 on both my cruises that i have upcoming, the port taxes/fees/etc went up by like 50-100 dollars. glad i booked early when they under estimated it.
bumbles Posted July 28, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 28, 2016 On our upcoming 13day Journeys cruise they changed our itinerary from stopping at Colon, Panama to a partial transit of the Panama Canal - this caused the port fees to go WAY up...fortunately we booked prior to the change so only had to pay the original fees. If we make any changes at all, we'll then get charged for the additional amount.
