Clarea Posted July 29, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) Has anyone sail to Bermuda with a birth certificate instead of a passport? Should not be a problem if you are a US citizen and are leaving from and returning to the same US port. The BC has to be a certified copy and you also need a government issued photo ID. Rare Keith1010 Posted July 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2016 The issue would be if some medical issue or emergency occurred and you could not return by ship and had to fly a passport would be required so just keep that in mind. If you start and end your cruise at the same USA port and are an American Citizen a passport would not be required for the cruise. Keith
