Hong Kong Port

Originally HAL showed we were coming into the Ocean Terminal on Feb. 28, 2017 on the Volendam. Checking on the What's in Port website it shows we're using the Kai Tak Terminal. It also shows on the website for the Kai Tak Terminal that that's the terminal we'll be using. I called HAL and they said they show we're still using the Ocean Terminal. Does anyone know which terminal HAL is using now?

Looking up both KTCT and OT cruise ship schedule for Feb. 2017 - it looks fairly certain like HAL will be docked at/using Kai Tak - it is listed on their port schedule. Ocean Terminal, which is nice & next to Star Ferry in the middle of town, does NOT have HAL or any other ship docking there on that day.

HAL has the Kai Tak terminal booked for other sailings by the ship as well - it's a little bit out of the way and not as convenient, they will have shuttles, PMB and taxi's along with those offered by the ship - and, being with fewer passengers unlike the mega-ship, lines for whatever will move much faster.

 

I would just plan for being KT and if for whatever reasons, HAL decided to and is allowed to pull into the middle of Victoria Harbour with the gangway at Ocean Terminal, then you will be pleasantly surprised. It's a great time of the year to visit there.
