Just wondering if anyone has heard any "insider" ( ;) ) information regarding Harvest Caye after the hurricane that swept through Belize. Is it still on track to be in operation this coming November? (Heck, I would love to know what date in November it has been scheduled to open)

No insider HC info as those would likely come from NCL themselves until words get around later on. Question is mitigation and recovery - Earl passing yesterday & making landfall just south of Belize City, and that's very close to - if not directly - over HC from the weather maps/graphics, one of them is here from BBC World News - flash flooding, mudslides, wind & storm damages in general ... those take longer time to recover. Power outage can generally bounce back in a matter of days, or sooner. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-36971626

Some of that depend on the type of damages done, what was not secured and blown away, washed away (if any) and whether the structures (buildings, etc.) were hurricane proven to withstand 75+ mph ... 8+ weeks to recovery, resume, restore & prepare for the opening, assuming another major storm won't score a direct hit.

"The Landshark Bar will open for business on Harvest Caye, NCL's private island off Belize's south east coast, on November 16."

We're there on the Getaway on the 16th, and it doesn't appear that we're going to Harvest Caye at all. All the excursion options are Belize. The itinerary stills says Belize City. I think we're day early. Unfortunately.
