rs12065 Posted August 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2016 We will be on the Brilliance in September for our Mediterranean cruise, departing from Barcelona. Are there any specific not to be missed sights at sailaway?

MerlinsMum Posted August 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2016 It depends on what time you get into Barcy, and how long you have to spare. We will be going the day before, so we can book to see the sagrada familiar, the famous church Gaudi was building. If you decide to go, they recommend pre book times tickets, as it gets really busy. here is a link (if it works0 to info about it... http://www.sagradafamilia.org/en/
Bobal Posted August 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2016 There's nothing to see really. The port is on the edge of town and you sail away from town. The land views are on the starboard side as you sail away, but nothing particularly interesting to see
bethco Posted August 7, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2016 Barcelona is wonderful with a lot to see and do, but the same cannot be said for sail away from the port. It is industrial and there are really no sights as you sail out. It also takes quite a while to get out. Here is a video of Allure leaving Barcelona for last year's transatlantic.
