Yes, you can actually put a luggage tag on a case and they will deliver to your room with the rest of your luggage.

Carnival Cruise Lines: Carnival is fairly liberal with their beverage policy. According to their website, “On embarkation day, each guest may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages on board and only in their carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 bottles and/or cans, 20 ounces each or less.”

 

Update: As of July 15, 2016, Norwegian no longer allows any liquids (other than medical-related items), to be brought aboard. This includes soda and water.

Celebrity places no restrictions on bringing non alcoholic beverages aboard. What other lines do isn't relevant here

Do you expect the rules to change on Celebrity? They have allowed unlimited carry on soft drinks for at least 15 years, with no indication of anything different on the horizon. Soda, waters, anything non-alcoholic in any quantity are allowed.

Yes you can. Just be careful if they are cans, that they don't get smashed. Could make for a bad start to a great vacation.

Yes, it can go in your checked luggage. Or as post #2 noted, you can stick a luggage tag on it and it will be delivered

At the New York Manhattan pier, the security persons who handle Carnival do not allow soda in a plastic bottle. I brought a few to board the ship and they took them all. They said no soda in bottles, period.

 

To avoid unexpected disappointment, stay with cans.

Why todays times security is one reason why over protecting.

 

I will give you all a good reason not to pack your soda in a luggage

 

"SPILL" your luggage does not handled with kid gloves. it gets rushed on.
