Celebrity needs new winter Caribbean cruises

Indeed. I was looking at the cruises there offered by Fathom.

I think a land vacation needs to be taken there soon before the place becomes commercialised.

Now remember on those cruise you have to actually do a bit of real social work! :D

We have friends that just got back under a similar land program. It will be a very long time till it is over commercialized.

But for us, it is coming.

I just did the 11-day Equinox Western Caribbean itinerary a few months ago and had a (mostly) fabulous cruise! We LOVED our overnight in Colombia, and had a great time at the jaguar rescue center in Puerto Limon. The Panama Canal was awesome to see in person, but the rest of our tour that day didn't work out as planned. I wrote a detailed review from our cruise if you want to look at that for more ideas of things to do in port on that itinerary (the link is in my signature below). Despite a few hiccups, I would definitely recommend the itinerary as it was very unique and brought us to ports that aren't as common to the typical Caribbean cruise.

While on board, we booked the 14 night Eclipse itinerary for 2018 to the ABC's. I am so thrilled they are offering that itinerary and cannot wait to see some new places (for us) and to re-visit others that we loved in the past! :D

I hope you find a great cruise to suit your needs!

Thanks deladane I will check out your review.

Normally 14 days in January is doable but not this coming January because of work switch ups. I work in the medical field and my job is one of those that must be staffed no matter what. Can be good or could be bad depending on how you look at it. lol

OK, let me rephrase. New combinations of existing ports. For example the 10 day Caribbean we have been on twice with Celebrity includes Ft. Lauderdale, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, St Kitts & Barbados. Princess has a similar cruise but visits Grand Turk and Antigua in addition to or in place of one of the other ports.

Also there is a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, St. Thomas and somewhere else (I am not looking at the website right now).

I've also seen this combination Ft. Lauderdale to the cruise line's private island, St. Thomas, Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados & St. Kitts.

So those are just a bit different than the 10 night that Celebrity offers. I just want a little bit of a switch up I do not expect anyone to create any new ports. Just maybe change out a port or two from what is their standard.

OK, what foreign country in the Caribe can build a dock and set up everything need to handle 3000 passengers?

Our Equinox 10 day in Nov 2017, Gr Cayman, the ABC's and Key West with 4 sea days. Pretty cool route.

Grand Turk is a no stop for RCCL/Celebrity as it is basically a Carnival built private island now.

We were there in 2012 on Princess, and it was a wasted day, unless you like to go to Margarita Ville and swim in their pool.
