I just booked my reservation since we are 90 days out and saw that I was charged 17 per person for Ocean blue but, none of the other restaurants that we reserved. We have the 4 day Specialty Dinning package and are traveling with my sister who is in a separate cabin who also has the package. I did add her to my reservation and did not book her separately. Does Ocean blue have an additional charge?

Considering this for our upcoming sailing. So, are you able to have all the appetizers you care to order? Along with one entrée per person and whatever sides you wish, in addition to dessert? Trying to justify the additional $35 on top of the SDP cost. Last year when we sailed the Getaway I don't recall ever seeing anyone eating at Ocean Blue, is it now that good? I've always been under the impression that the seafood has to be frozen onboard ships and isn't truly fresh. In any case, any menu items anyone cares to suggest?

Ocean Blue is only $15 (unless you get the Seafood Extravaganza which is except from SDP and you pay that ala carte)

There have been conflicting experiences when ordering multiple apps, sides and desserts..... the T&Cs clearly state that an extra entree is an extra charge but no mention of the number of apps, sides, or desserts that can be ordered. Some have reported that they have been able to order multiple while others have said the waiter refuses to even if engaging the maître d

We ate in Ocean Blue in May and it was packed every night. We ate only appetizers as our meal. We had like 6 and salad and soups. Our server spent a good deal of time trying to talk us into an entree also. The meal was spectacular, perfect true fine dining service, perfect cocktails, a lovely wine list and fresh seafood. I work in this business and there was zero way the stone crabs were frozen. They were large and juicy and perfect. The crab legs, mussels, oysters and shrimp were perfect as well. Oh and crab cakes were great. The only thing I did not care for was the lobster bisque. I also had some sides and dessert. We were in haven, which also had seafood. This put them to shame. I also saw the seafood platter going out a lot and it looked great with lobster and such.

It is NOT only 15. It is a dining credit plus an additional 15,making it 32 in real money if you bought a 4 sdp.

Relax..... I was correcting the comment they made that it was $35..... if you go up a couple posts, you will see that I actually posted the entire T&C for the SDP so I'm very aware it is NOT just $15..

I ate at Ocean Blue in May..it was fantastic...you can have all the appetizers I believe with the exception of the crab legs and stone crab....one entree any sides you wish and dessert....I highly recommend trying it...the menu has changed from what it was when Zarkanian was involved...I had oysters Rockefeller..they were the best I have ever had...stone crab was delicious and the king crab legs were too....the service was outstanding...not many people eating there it was quiet and I also recommend getting the lobster roll sandwich from the ocean blue walk up window on the ocean front...they are only open on sea days for a very short time...it does cost but is worth it...
