Toarmina and Celebrity

If we were to take the Celebrity shuttle to Toarmina does anyone know where it drops you off and what sites would be walkable?

It has been a while since our last cruise in this area, but I am pretty sure the drop off is at the beginning of the old town of Taormina, which is very small and walkable as long as you don't mind cobblestone streets. The best site, the Greek amphitheater is in incredible shape and offers great views of the sea. You will want to find a nice restaurant for a relaxing lunch and walk the streets. Going to Taormina is a nice way to spend 4 hours or so.

I've been on both Celebrity and Royal Caribbean excursions to Taormina and both drove the bus to a parking garage on Corso Umberto just outside the old town gates. You will ride an elevator from the lower level of the garage up to street level and then walk about 50 yards on a gradual sloping sidewalk to the old town gate. What is "walkable" depends on how well you can walk. But assuming your able, you can pretty much walk all over the old town area, including to the Greek Theatre and back. It's very walkable. There are some cobblestone aspects in places. It is generally flat terrain once in the town with a slight uphill getting into he Greek Theatre and steps inside the Theatre.
