blizzardboy Posted August 31, 2016 #26 Share Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Does anyone happen to know if you purchase shares after booking a cruise, if you can still get the onboard credit? I think it is 100 shares? They only care that you own the stock when you submit the form to get your OBC. Here's a link you should use for program info: file:///C:/Users/David/Downloads/3441_001%20(7).pdf Edited August 31, 2016 by blizzardboy
NCTribeFan Posted August 31, 2016 #27 Share Posted August 31, 2016 I think you linked to the pdf on your own computer. Here's the page. You then can click the link to open the pdf. http://www.carnivalcorp.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=140690&p=irol-sharebenefit I know it isn't listed, but I've always emailed mine to Carnival. I've had my OBC applied usually in about 2 days, but once it was there in 58 minutes! I'd get an auto-response that it had been received, then an email stating it had been applied. It would then appear on my cruise documents. I always printed that second email and took with me, just in case it didn't appear on my account once I boarded. Is there an email to HAL to use rather than fax? Alternatively, I could've sent my statement to my PVP at Carnival. I just preferred to use the email method as it left a better trail. Can my guy at HAL handle this for me?

You then can click the link to open the pdf. http://www.carnivalcorp.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=140690&p=irol-sharebenefit I copied and pasted the link in a new tab to check it's functionality, and it worked. I noticed my first name in it, but since it worked I published it. I faxed our Shareholder app, no cover needed, and it was posted to our account within 48 hours. Rare richwmn Posted August 31, 2016 #30 Share Posted August 31, 2016 I copied and pasted the link in a new tab to check it's functionality, and it worked. It worked because the link resolved to a file on the computer you were using. If you had gone to another computer, it would not have worked. your link starts with: file:///C:, the designation file, rather than http means a local file

Makes sense after I thought about it. I guess I should've provided my user name and password as well. :)
avian777 Posted August 31, 2016 #32 Share Posted August 31, 2016 ... I guess I should've provided my user name and password as well. :) Not to worry, David ... with the info you did provide, I was able to access your computer with ease! JUST KIDDING, OF COURSE, although I would suggest that you change all of your P/Ws & User IDs just to be safe. Smooth sailing ...
