Experiences with Shorefox excursions?

I saw this company mentioned in a ship review; the reviewer had used them and was very happy with them. I just started looking into what they offer, seems like a good choice at good prices.

Has anyone on here used them before, and if so, was it good??

Like other similar companies, they are not a tour operator. They are a middleman.

 

Depending on where you are going, IMO you are better off booking directly with the tour operator.

But if they offer interesting excursions at much better prices than RC, why wouldn't I go through them? That's why I wanted to hear from peoples' experiences with this website, to see if they are legit, reliable etc.

The "middleman" tour sales companies that I know act as an agent between you and the tour operator should anything not go as you liked. Not happy with the tour, or something like that. Most will also guarantee that you will make it back to the ship on time because they work only with reputable tour operators, mostly the small ones that the ship can't work with because they can't handle the ship large groups. If you search carefully you can find tour companies that are based here in the States. I always like that when Im using my credit card.
