Zumba?

I am heading out on the Nieuw Amsterdam on October 7. does anyone know if they offer Zumba Classes? Also, are there eliptical machines in the gym? Just gotta keep the exercise routine going so I can keep up with the great food!

The only time I've seen Zumba on a HAL cruise was when the cruise director took the classes. That was Tamrin on the Volendam at the end of last year.

Yes the ship has an elliptical machine.

No Zumba classes on the ships we have been on.

The Vista and Signature-class ships have several; three to four) elliptical machines in the pax gym, apart from treadmills and steppers (NADM is one of them, not sure about Prinsendam, in a class on her own, which has a smaller Gym in a different location of the ship/Deck 9 aft).

 

There will only be Zumba lessons (fee included) if one of the two fitness instructors is qualified as a Zumba instructor (Zumba is pretty serious about that). I've been on ships whee that was the case and those classes were offered

Was also on a cruise where a CC member was a certified Zumba instructor and she arranged with HAL to have classes during the cruise in the Crow's Nest early in the day.
