Booking On Board and Casino Offers

How does it work if you book a sleeper cruise, and you get a free casino offer? Can you use your deposit to pay for port fees and taxes? Do you get lower deposits while booking on board? I know you get the OBC, do you get to keep it if you are offered a casino offer?

If you get a casino offer, I don't think it can be transferred to an existing booking.

 

Do you get lower deposits while booking on board?

The on board bookings are the same offers as with all other Carnival offers, just get OBC and Friends offers.

 

I know you get the OBC, do you get to keep it if you are offered a casino offer?

If you book on board, you get to keep the OBC even if you switch to another offer later.

A few years ago there was an onboard depositing of $100 toward your next cruise. If you booked it within 2 years you got an additional credit of $100 for your cruise bringing it to $200. My buddy and I each put the bucks down and trying to collect later discovered it was only ONE credit per cabin per cruise. It worked out. I took the 1st credit on a cruise we took and he took his daughters for the 2nd credit. Don't know if Carnival does this anymore, though.:confused:

Casino offers nearly always apply to new bookings only. If you don't book early saver you can cancel and rebook but you would lose the OBC

 

Now if you have an offer, like the next round of premiers you could potentially book that on board and get both. The onboard rates are the same as you could book from home.

You are referring to future cruise certificate which unfortunately is not offered anymore
