elcid79 Posted August 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2016 Wow, I am really happy to see that they have a fairly decent selection. Its not a ton of microbrews, but I will take it!

Wendy The Wanderer Posted August 24, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) Hinano is quite good. They even have a shop full of merchandise in Papeete (or did). David's Hinano shirt is getting old, and his Hinano hat is history I think, so he'll have to get new stuff next year! DavidTheWonderer Posted August 24, 2016 #10 Share Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) Hinano is quite good. The last time we were on the PG they only had Hinano lager, which really is excellent. But Hinano also makes a lovely amber beer, available in a few restos on land. I'm hoping it is a success and they keep making it, and that the PG ends up stocking it. But only having Hinano lager sure beats "a sharp stick in the eye" so I won't complain if they don't add the amber. DavidTheWonderer Posted August 24, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 24, 2016 I've been noticing the "Official Responder" for PG Cruises posting on this thread and others on the board. I really appreciate whoever you are for taking the time to do this. So ... thanks!

twin123185 Posted August 24, 2016 #14 Share Posted August 24, 2016 Small ship. Can't have a zillion brands! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Wendy The Wanderer Posted August 25, 2016 #15 Share Posted August 25, 2016 A broader local selection would be cool. In my opinion this is quite broad, broader than many premium or luxury lines. Too bad that nobody has draft beer, and yes, it would be great to have craft beers, and english ales, etc., but really, they do pretty well. elcid79 Posted August 25, 2016 #16 Share Posted August 25, 2016 I agree 100%. I was referencing LOCAL breweries. Honestly I was surprised it is as diverse as it is.
